Fundraising Letter
Fundraising Letter to Announce Your Program
A fundraising letter can help generate interest when you launch your MagRaise magazine subscription fundraising program. The basic elements of the letter should include:
An introduction (or re-introduction) to your organization
Its goals, objectives, mission
The reason for the fundraiser; where will the money go and how much of the proceeds go to the fundraising organization
MagRaise Online Fundraiser
If you'll be running a MagRaise online fundraiser, you will want to send your fundraising letter via email. The email should contain all of the elements listed above and should direct the recipient via web links to the customized web page that MagRaise will have built for your organization (at no charge).
The web page should reiterate and expand upon some of your points from the letter and promote interest in supporting your organization. MagRaise will build this customized page for you with the content and photos you provide to us. The web page will direct your visitor to the
MagRaise Store
where they can browse our wide selection of magazines and make their purchases with 50% of the proceeds going to your organization.

Standard MagRaise Fundraiser
If you will be doing "in-person" selling with MagRaise sales and ordering materials in conjunction with your online fundraiser or as a stand-alone program, you may still want to announce your fundraiser through a well-crafted letter. Again, the letter describes your organization, its goals, objectives and mission and discusses the use of the monies raised from the program.
A good letter inspires the reader not only to contribute to your cause, but to tell others.
