Why should we consider a MagRaise fundraiser?

Why MagRaise over other magazine subscription fundraising companies?

Our 60% payout is the highest in the industry. That's a 60% profit to you, regardless of the number of subscriptions you sell. A program offering a 40% payout would pay you about $4.80 LESS for every order you take

Why does MagRaise offer only 110 titles?

We know that some companies offer over 700 titles, but we choose instead to offer you over 110 titles that will enable us to let you keep a 60% profit regardless of your sales volume. And please be assured, 110 titles will give your customers a very wide selection to choose from.

How much does a MagRaise program cost to run?

MagRaise does not charge for our sales materials or development services (for our online fundraising clients). Please note that because we offer these materials and services at no charge, we are selective about the organizations we work with. You must be a non-profit organization, fully committed to the efforts and benefits of a MagRaise fundraiser.

How much money can our organization raise through MagRaise?

As with any fundraising program, this will largely depend on the effort and resources you apply to your MagRaise fundraiser. However, with an average profit of $14.40 per sale to your organization (and the fact that you will be able to offer over 110 titles for both new and renewal subscriptions), you do have an opportunity to raise a great deal of money through MagRaise.

For some quick math, ten participants selling only ten titles each would bring your oranization about $1,440 in profit- that's over $480 more than a program offering a 40% payout!

Should we run a MagRaise online fundraiser?

A MagRaise online fundraiser can be a successful stand-alone fundraising program or serve as a second revenue stream for you with your "booklet selling" efforts. The online program is most valuable for organizations that have access to email addresses of people who have interest in their organization and for organizations with a network of interested people who may be geographically disbursed.

How long should we run our MagRaise fundraiser?

We recommend you run your MagRaise program for about one month, although we have run online fundraisers for much longer periods.

How much will our customers pay for these subscriptions?

You are able to offer these subscriptions to your customers at the same list price the publishers offer. The difference is that 60% of this fee now goes to your organization.

How soon will our customers start receiving their magazines?

This depends on the frequency of delivery of the publications. Weekly magazines usually start arriving within 6 - 8 weeks after you send your order to MagRaise. Monthly, bi-monthly, and other publications can take a little longer.

What if the customer doesn't receive their magazine?

Either you or the customer should notify MagRaise and we will correct the problem.
